Tom Waits to Tour!!!!!
This is great news. Scott of the Raindogs Mailing List has a great story (see below) about actually meeting Mr. Waits in San Francisco yesterday. The gist of the story is that Tom said he will tour starting in January!!!!! Here’s the full story:
Here is my second post to the list and it’s a whooper. I took a motorcycle trip from LA to Crater Lake National park last week. Knowing I would still be on the road when Tom’s record came out on Tuesday, I planned on staying in San Francisco at the Stanyan Inn off the end of Haight street, getting up in the morning, buying “Real Gone” at Amoeba Music, having breakfast at the Pork Store then heading home.
