Tom Waits for No Man

I feel a bit guilty for being so late on this news, but better late than never. I had previously reported that Tom Waits was scheduled to appear in the upcoming Robert Altman flick based upon the long running radio show, “Prairie Home Companion”.

Well, apparently, he has dropped out of out of the movie due to concert scheduling conflicts. Yes, you heard me, apparently there is a concert schedule being planned.

This has now been confirmed by Mr. Wait’s tour manager, Stuart Ross, who posted the following on the Raindogs Mailing List:

“There will not be a summer tour. That being said, shows are being planned, just not in the summer. More as it comes.”

Well, Mr. Ross, we all have our fingers crossed out here in fanland.
